Metamorphosis 3D

A 3D printed tattoo is a three-dimensional, physical representation of a certain 2D design. The result is a bespoke piece of body decoration which is flexible and can be easily applied to the surface of skin using bio-friendly, silicone based adhesives. The positive relief effect achieved after application communicates essential design information through both visual and tactile stimulation. 3D printing custom body decoration is a less permanent and non-invasive alternative to conventional tattoos, offering a new level of opportunities for self-expression and transformation of the human form.

Osteoid

The goal of this project is to improve the overall healing experience for broken or fractured limbs by focusing on the patient’s comfort and healing time. Osteoid cast offers a new way of tackling these problems by introducing new technologies which enables us to make custom fitted, durable 3D printed medical casts that doesn't itch or smell. The end products are slimmer, lighter, doesn't affect from water and environmentally friendly. This cast can also be combined with, a low intensity pulsed ultrasound (LIPUS) bone stimulator resulting in faster recovery.

Cellular Table

Cellular Table has been commissioned to explore new ways of producing metal in the field of furniture design. The project uses a double-layer algorithmic pattern to provide both strength and flexibility. The final form of the table is developed through multiple iterations of the algorithm to provide an optimum level of porosity and lightness. Finally, the manufacturing process offers the use of both 3d printing and electro-forming process to increase both lightweight and sculptural qualities of a typical metal furniture within in a given interior environment.
