Cellular Table

Cellular Table has been commissioned to explore new ways of producing metal in the field of furniture design. The project uses a double-layer algorithmic pattern to provide both strength and flexibility. The final form of the table is developed through multiple iterations of the algorithm to provide an optimum level of porosity and lightness. Finally, the manufacturing process offers the use of both 3d printing and electro-forming process to increase both lightweight and sculptural qualities of a typical metal furniture within in a given interior environment.

3D Crafts

Alice Le Biez, French young designer has realized a set of three bowls, printed in 3D ceramics. The shape of each bowls reminds traditional ceramics technique. She created with her project an illusion of a hand-made bowl by the design but also by the making process. Her 3D printing object explores the link between traditional skills and new technologies and demonstrates that designer can use the new technologies as a tool to go further in their work and discover a new field of creation.

Toybic

Toybic is personalized RC toy car of the next generation that replaces old-fashioned approach "Bought, gave away and forgot" with "Let's design and play together!". It can be custom-designed via online app, 3D-printed at any location and provides user an opportunity to enjoy the interactivity of virtual games in a real world. Futuristic toy encourage users’ creativity to build new designs, share with other users, promote sustainability (old or broken parts can be simply re-printed), bring parents together with kids and provide learning of 3D modeling and printing.

Breaking the 3-D mould.

The shoe collection was to discover ways and limitations in 3-D printing technology to push the boundaries of these constraints and change these processes of the footwear manufacturing. It is clear that 3-D printing technology can not only achieve footwear production, but also allow a large amount of flexibility in the design stage, as well as allowing me as a shoe designer to push the limits of design structures. This collection could be part of the further development of using this technology in design and manufacturing processes, and in particular in relation to the production of footwear.

The Monologue Series- Vase

We sculptured a soft and flowing Vase with hard seamless brushed stainless steel in 3D print models and manual sculpture way. The main material used is stainless steel, integral and seamless. we chose some of the models to print them out as vases, and asked the craftsmen to make more steel copies. All the steel sculptures except their mirror parts have brushed matt finishes, which avoid mass reflection and fingerprints.
